Declan chows down...

After a whole lot of harassment - I mean encouragement - from our parents, friends and even Declan's day care people, we finally decided to test drive some rice cereal on the boy.

Verdict: Yuck

So we tried something a little different - mashed bananas mixed with milk. He loved it; he was actually reaching towards the bowl and leaning towards the spoon as it came at him.

We later added the rice cereal to the mix, and he was none the wiser.
